 Projects:
Lap Robe Pillow
Page 1
Lap robe dimensions are 43-44 inches by 65-66
Supplies:
- 3-4 yards of material. We used fleece.
- Contrasting or matching thread. Lots.
- Rotary cutter, mat, and ruler
- A good movie to watch

Cut squares using a rotary cutter, mat, and ruler:
Squares needed: We used green and blue for the main field, red and
white for the border, purple for the four corners, and purple for the pillow with a white
border. Your bag might not have the same colors or the same amounts of colors. Go crazy
creating your own color design!
Main - 160 4x4 squares total consisting of:
- green - 80 4x4 squares
- blue - 80 4x4 squares
Border - 52 3x4 squares and 4 3x3 squares consisting of:
- red - 26 3x4 squares
- gray - 26 3x4 squares
- purple - 4 3x3 squares
Pillow Cover - total size 16x18 minus seam allowance:
- purple 14x16 - We used 4 7x8 squares
- Grey strips of 2 inch wide to border the pillow cover
- This is not an exact science. 16x18 total size will fit the blanket
inside. Piece what ever you have left to get close to these dimensions.
