Our Duchesse Satin fabric (aka Dutchess Satin or Duchess Satin) is 35% Silk 65% Rayon.  This is a satin that is reminiscent of turn-of-the-century ball gowns glistening under gaslight chandeliers. Excellent for bridal, christening, fancy evening ball gowns. It would also make beautiful drapes, although expensive.
