Dyed Fabric 4 U "I would like to nominate <<http://www.dyedfabric4u.com>>, a site that features hand dyed fabrics. The site is attractively presented and easy to use, but two things make it stand out from other good sites. One, it presents a excellent product. The fabric is beautiful with luscious colors and the mottling is interesting but subtle. The fabric used is of high quality and the price is very reasonable. I have both of the advertised color wheels--I needed them for my stash! The second thing that makes this site special is that it tells a story of two women who wanted to try dyeing and then miscalculated the amount of dye they would need. The error gave them enough extra dye to go into business! Their personalities come through as they explain their dilemma and then go on to explain and illustrate the steps they go through to dye fabric. It's an interesting site and I enjoyed seeing what is involved in the process of hand dyeing."

Don't miss their discussion forum, "The Silk Thread" with many comments, ideas and tips on cleaning vintage Japanese Kimono's and Obi's. Email manager@moto-ya.com

USA Fabric "I would like to nominate http://www.usafabric.com/ for one of your Fabric web site awards. This site just came on line the end of April and they already have the largest selection and BEST quality fleece fabric of anyone. And, they are adding products every day. The site is easy to navigate and they will let you pay with visa or mastercard or you can pay with those and other credit cards and even from your checking account by using paypal. They will even let you mail in a money order. Also, this is a very timely nomination. These folks donate a portion of all of their on line sales to one of several military and veteran or patriotic charities - and they let the customer choose which one they want to donate to."
