Our Silk Crepe Backed Satin fabric is a deluxe crepe-back silk satin. Top-of-the-line silk with a high sheen  similar to charmeuse only heavier and more luxurious. Top side is shiny; back side which is crepe has a fine rib and pebbly look feel. Both sides can be great for textural effects. This silk is a superb choice for bridal or the most elegant evening wear.

Absolutely beautiful fabric.  Haven't seen quality of this kind in ages.  Can't imagine using anything else in place of this type of fabric next time I make something requiring it.
